For the first time in years I was able to effortlessly go into and come out of Ustrasana without the uncomfortable feeling of over-compressing my back and neck.  Sherri has a wonderful ability to describe what muscles to activate in a pose, how to engage them properly, and what we should be feeling throughout the practice.

I have chronic back pain which requires weekly acupressure treatment to get me through the week.  After a couple private sessions with Sherri, I've noticed an increase in lower back muscle strength and stability.  She is actually building up my own confidence in my ability to move freely without fear of hurting myself.

Our first class with Sherri on-site at work included trigger point therapy for the upper back with massage balls and a Yin yoga sequence for the lower back.  It was the most relaxing experience, and felt so good!  We couldn't wait for her to come back the next week!
